Our History

Brand-Sayers Architects Inc. (BSA) was formed in 1989 when Thomas Brand joined Paul Sayers and Associates/Architects, which had been established in 1984. Upon Paul Sayers’ retirement in late 2008, Vanessa Wittliff became a partner in the firm.

More recently, at the beginning of 2014, Thomas and Vanessa elected to continue to grow and transform BSA yet again. Vanessa Wittliff was elected as president of the firm therefore allowing the company to become a woman-owned establishment.

To celebrate all of the exciting changes, as well as the company’s 25th anniversary, the name of the firm was changed to BSA Design Group Inc. While many changes have taken place over recent years, the same core values and trusted team members have remained in place.

Our heritage of projects has been primarily for commercial, institutional and industrial clients. Since 2000, our client base has expanded into advanced technological and telecommunications arenas. BSA's twenty-five year history includes extensive experience with ground up mission critical facilities along with expansions and alterations to existing facilities. We work closely with MEP consultants and other necessary design team members that have extensive mission critical experience to provide best value solutions to our clients.

Our goal is to provide our clients with innovative, cost-effective design solutions.
