Rooftop Backup Generators Downtown Dallas Complex

Cost: $4 million

Project Details

A structural Steel Platform had to be designed and constructed to support nine emergency engines and related fuel buildings required to backup up a Dallas downtown complex consisting of data centers and telecommunication facilities.

With fuel redundancy as a requirement, three buildings were constructed to store fuel which required extensive code analysis and multiple City meetings for approval. Fire suppression and fuel containment was also a large part of the overall job.
