Project Summary
This project entailed the renovation and finish out of 18,000 square feet of floor space in a corporate office building. The renovation included a full redesign of the space as well as the design of all modular and ancillary lounge and collaborative furnishings.
The client for this project requested a very open floor plan concept with a warehouse/urban feel for the team set to occupy the space. The floor space is in an older structure with low ceiling decks and minimal windows to natural light.
To create an open feeling, the BSA Design team exposed the ceiling deck throughout, utilized glass fronts for all meeting spaces and created workstations that were low in height, but functional in use. Minimal screening and maximum storage and function allow the team members to work efficiently and effectively. Additionally, the floor was outfitted with all new ductwork and lighting. So again our team took advantage and designed the infrastructure to provide as much head room as possible as well as installing all new LED lighting throughout.
Other areas include Focus Booths, Huddle Rooms and open Collaboration areas. There’s a place for everyone whether they are social in function or more heads down and private. We also provided a Work Café in the middle of the floor space to encourage not only a place to eat, but also a different way to work.
